I/O signals
Use the Signals app to view and set signal states from your robot controller and connected external devices and systems. The Signals app is available via the NOVA app store.
Setup
In Setup, go to the Signals tab and create mappings for all relevant controller signals.
You can choose a fitting name for your signal mapping, which will later be shown in the Signals app.
Observe and control
After setting up the signal mappings in Setup, open the Signals app to observe and control the I/O signals.
You can view the current state of input and output signals as well as further details.
Input signals are read-only and reflect the current state from the robot controller or connected devices.
For output signals, you can change their state in the Signals app.
Use this to manually trigger actions in the cell, e.g., grippers, conveyor belts, or other external devices.
