Foreseeable misuse

Reasonably foreseeable misuse

Any other use exceeding the intended use, or altering the intended use will be considered reasonably foreseeable misuse. Wandelbots GmbH will not assume any liability for damage resulting from reasonably foreseeable misuse.

Danger from reasonably foreseeable misuse!
Misuse of Wandelbots NOVA with physical robots can result in material damage and people being injured.

Examples for misuse are:

  • If no risk assessments have been executed and no adequeate protective measures have been implemented for the use of Wandelbots NOVA with robot applications.
  • Concious engagement within areas of risk.
  • Access to hazarduous parts and disregarding EN ISO 60204-1:2018 requirements while operating Wandelbots NOVA, especially a physical instance.
  • Operating Wandelbots NOVA in malfunctioning or damaged condition, especially malfunctioning control functions.
  • Dismounting and manipulating safety-related parts of the robot controller and/or the robot application.
  • Operating the machinery with bypassed, bridged or rigged parts.
  • Operating Wandelbots NOVA outdoors, and in mines or underground.
  • Using Wandelbots NOVA for private (non-commercial) purposes.
  • Using Wandelbots NOVA in a potentially explosive atmosphere.
  • Using Wandelbots NOVA in metal swarf heavy areas.
  • Operating Wandelbots NOVA with open electrical installation spaces/control cabinets.
  • Missing operating mode protection, e. g. missing protection against unauthorized access to safety-relevant parts of the robot control.
  • Operating Wandelbots NOVA although people are located in the areas of risk.
  • The consequences of conversions, modifications and significant alterations: If Wandelbots NOVA is converted, modified or significantly altered, the person executing can't provide a proof of safety.
  • Altering the safety control configuration while using Wandelbots NOVA.
